The British rapper was presented to singingat the recent 30th birthday party of the legend's daughter, Nicole Richie, in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, where her father gave him tips on how to break America.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Dizzee and Lionel were in conversation for much of the night. He was giving Dizzee guidance on how to tackle the American market.

"When Dizzee's song 'Holiday' came on, Lionel cut the conversation, hit the dancefloor and went for it."

However, despite his aspirations, Dizzee said recently that the U.S. is in no hurry to become a big star - like his friend and sometime collaborator Calvin Harris - because he is admitted without there being able to relax much.

The 'Dance Wiv Me' hitmaker said: "I'm just back from America, I was just chilling and it was great. I can always go there, I can do pretty much whatever I want so, [breaking it] aint really an urgent thing for me.

"I've already cracked my hometown the UK, Australia, so I'm quite happy with the way things are right now and we'll see what happens."

BBC Concert Orchestra with singer Richie is the only UK date this year will be performed at will.

The event held at Hyde Pak on London on 11th September 2011, which will be hosted by Radio 2’s Chris Evans, who announced the headline that on the morning breakfast show.

He said Radio 2's Hyde Park shows were “without a doubt one of the highlights of my year – a beautiful location, an astounding line-up of world class artists including superstar Lionel Richie and thousands of the great British public coming together to enjoy themselves”.

The event was covered live on Radio 2, live performances and backstage interviews will also be included. The atation displays the day's highlights across the R2 site with additional content will air the following week.

Radio 2’s head of programmes Lewis Carnie said, "Music is at the heart of Radio 2's output, and with an incredible line-up to be announced in coming weeks, there will be something for everyone at this year's Hyde Park show."
