For advice on his love life Joel said that he often consult to Lionel Richie.

Charlotte rocker who is engaged with Lionel daughter Nicole,the pair had two children,two-year-old Harlow and 14-month-old Sparrow.Despite their closeness, the 31-year-old singer has admitted he sometimes looks to others for help on how to deal with his fiancée.

He told People magazine,"Whenever Nicole is mad at me, for any reason, I call him... and I'm like, 'Listen, she's mad at me and I don't really know why.' And then he'll call her and he'll fix it and it's really nice having that".

Joel exposed that he also consult for Lionel in order to how to cope with children when he is far away from them for a long period of time.Joel admits he finds it is difficult to leave the house sometimes.

"It's hard to be away. It's the first time I ever questioned what I did because sometimes you miss moments and you're like, 'Is this worth it? Me and him [Lionel] have become best friends. We talk on the phone a lot. He's always gone and I'm always gone, but we... totally understand each other. He's been where I've been," Joel explained.

It has been confirmed by Nicole Richie daughter of Lionel Richie and Joel Madden that they will get marry next month. The couple said they are planning to get marry in the initial week of Decemeber.The pair, who have a two-year-old daughter Harlow and 14-month-old son Sparrow together.

"I heard Nicole Richie talking excitedly to Christina Aguilera about her upcoming wedding," a source told X17 online. "She said, '29 days to go!' "

They have been dating each other since last four years so the nuptials will not be the only event the couple,will host,as they are also believed to be holding a "decoy event" to throw paparazzi off the scent of the real wedding.

Nicole's close friend Christina Aguilera, who an insider has revealed is "practically living at Nicole's house", is also in talks with the pair to perform during their big day. Meanwhile, it would appear the couple are keen for the newly single singer, who filed for divorce from husband Jordan Bratman three weeks ago, to get out and have fun.

Speaking at a book signing of her novel Priceless, Nicole stated "I'm not down [with that]," when quizzed about Joel’s comments that he'd "love Lionel to play a song".

The 29-year-old star is engaged to musician boyfriend Joel Madden, and recently confirmed their wedding will take place soon. But Nicole is determined there will be no guest singing appearance from Lionel at the event.

Lionel Richie In Country Music Hall of Fame

At the Country Music Hall of Fame to Lionel Richie will perform as a particular guest and Museum's All for the Hall fundraising concert in Los Angeles on Sept. 23. As previously announced, Emmylou Harris, Kris Kristofferson and Taylor Swift will also perform during the event in a "guitar pull" format where songwriters sit together and take turns playing songs. For the guitar pull a forth songwriter has not yet been announced. Are available for $5,000 tables for five, while individual tickets are $1,000. Aslan, the first 11 song release by Lionel Richie and the Wardrobe is set for an August release, and is a concept album based around The Chronicles of Narnia. "They are books I've always enjoyed," he told us from his home in California, "I am telling the legend through song, and I intend to tour later in the year."Richie has also enlisted the help of various stars from the world of music. Lady GaGa is to play the part of the White Witch, Elton John is tipped to play Tumnus and Richie himself will take the role of Aslan. The roles of the Pevensie children are taken by Amy Winehouse as Lucy, Justin Beiber as Edmund, Lil Wayne as Peter and Susan Boyle as Susan. Reports that Snoop Dogg will portray Giant Rumblebuffin have yet to be confirmed. The forthcoming tour will feature a full length stageshow, but the recording artists are unprobably to reprise their roles for the tour, due to other commitments.
